HPC/AI on Social Media

Who?

Who are the best people to follow on social media to keep up to date with essential news and discussion on supercomputing, HPC, AI infra, etc.?

Some goals / rules:

• What are the minimum set of accounts you can follow and still expect to catch most of the HPC news, gossip, opinion pieces, analysis and key technical content?

• How to avoid too much marketing?

• How to access comment and debate beyond the news headlines?

• Which HPC people are not only active but also interactive on twitter?

The answer used to be easy: follow HPC_Guru and you would catch 90% of the important HPC news and conversation. However, since HPC_Guru retired from social media in 2025, the list needs to be broader. 

Where?

Which social media platforms to use? These are listed roughly in the order that I find them useful for HPC/AI info and discussion. Your order might differ! My order would differ if ranking for reasons other than HPC/AI info.
